Our Team

TRFO is made up of family physicians and midwives with a passion for maternity care.

Our family physicians and midwives work both in the TRFO Clinic and on the labor and delivery ward. There is a different provider each day for the clinic and for the delivery ward. We have a fairly consistent schedule of doctors in clinic, so you can choose to continue with a single provider for most of your prenatal office visits. We have a larger group that provides coverage of the labor and delivery floor. There is a good chance you will meet a new-to-you doctor in labor, so our team pays careful attention to full and complete communication to make this process as easy as possible for you.

Our team includes male and female physicians, residents, and medical students. Although we can usually book you with a preferred gender during clinic, our on call team may include a male physician. It is not possible to promise you a female provider for all your care.

Our team includes two midwives, Elaine Barnes and Jessica Astle, who provide additional prenatal education and postpartum support. At this time, they are not providing delivery services with TRFO. Elaine and Jessica are both International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).
